Fingerprinting Services

The department provides fingerprinting services to individuals who need to be fingerprinted for job applications, background checks or for any other purpose.  The department uses traditional ink fingerprinting for this purpose. 

​Cost:
$10.00 per card for resident.
$15.00 per card for non-resident.
 
Payment:
We currently accept cash or check. Credit cards will not be accepted at this time.
 
Hours:
Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We recommend calling ahead, (608) 835-3111, to ensure someone will be available to assist you with the process.  It typically takes 10-15 minutes to complete the process. Unfortunately we do not accept appointments.
